Billy Elliot

The film is set during the UK miners' strike (1984–1985).Billy is a boy who realized his love of dance but his father is a male chaivinist who wants that his son do "men`s activities" for example: boxing. Billy doesn`t like boxing so he practised in secret ballet. The problem of gender is presents in this film and even nowadays, where there are people who don`t accept and discriminate a different sexual tendency and avoid them to do everything they want to and feel. the worst is when the family discriminated a member from the familiy...that is sad.

The film ends when Billy reached his goal to be a ballet dancer and his father accept him.

I loved it! This was a beautiful film! My favorite part was when Billy said what he fells when he dance; he said that he fells free like a bird. He was just a child but he felt thing so strong.
This kind film help to peopple who don`t accept the diversity, or thing that are things wich only girls can do it. W e must be open mind and tolerant with everyone!
we can adapt this situation to school, we must understand and accept to every students, we can`t discriminate to be different or to have different likes.
We have to be always empathetic.
